While we are not in the habit of posting employment opportunities at Empire Remixed, maybe this is the exception.
You see, Empire Remixed was born in the context of
the Christian Reformed Campus Ministry
to the University of Toronto.
It was, after all, in coffee-soaked conversations at Wine Before Breakfast that the idea of a community dedicated to remixing the empire through public events, salons, and blogging was hatched.
And WBB is, of course, a worshipping community
of the CRC campus ministry.
Well, it is time for Brian Walsh, our lead pastor, to retire.
After considerable community consultation,
prayer, and reflection,
the ministry has developed a ministry profile,
strategic plan and position description.
And so we are happy to share this announcement and job posting
with the broader Empire Remixed community:
The Christian Reformed Campus Ministry to the University of Toronto
is looking for a dynamic leader to guide the next chapter of the ministry’s story.
Given the range of vibrant and diverse ministry communities,
the dynamics of the current staff team, and the nature of UofT,
we’re looking for someone with significant campus ministry-related experience.
Our recent strategic plan, ministry profile
and position description are all available on our ministry website.
The application deadline is April 17,
with an intended start date of summer 2020.
