Blogging Lent

by Andrew Stephens-Rennie

I know that we’re well into our lenten journey, and trying our best to avoid the A—— word. We’ve already shared a couple of reflections on lent on the blog – one from Ericka here and one from Liz here.

As we’ve done so, I’ve kept in the back of my mind the fact there are others out there blogging Lent much more regularly than we. Jonny Baker has pointed me in the direction of the Grace Lent Blog.

This blog emerged from the Grace Community in London, UK. Grace’s mission is to resource and to spark “the imagination of the wider church in the UK and round the world.”

They’ve kept the blog up for several years (you can check their archives for blogs from 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007). If you’re looking for a regular dose of Lenten reflection in your life, be sure to check them out.

Also via Jonny Baker, the Church Mission Society (CMS) has published an Easter teaching resource for children aged 7-11, and has other Lenten resources here.
