On Monday June 30, 2008, Empire Remixed and presenting partner PWRDF are pleased to bring Shane Claiborne and Chris Haw to Toronto on the Jesus for President (err…Prime Minister) tour, in support of their new book, and for the further awakening of the theo-political imagination.

JFP’s Toronto stop will also feature folk troubadour Jon Brooks whose songs catalyse such imagination for a hope-filled future. Brooks’ lyrics expose his own compassion for the suffering, politically imaginative servant, lyrics bleeding compassion with every ragged ounce of glory he can muster.

The event takes place on Monday June 30, 2008 at the Church of the Redeemer (162 Bloor Street West, Toronto), and gets underway at 7.00pm. Admission is PWYC, with a suggested donation of $10 per person.
