He didn’t mention the deaths of the people of Iraq (at justforeignpolicy.org I read 1,191,216 as of today), or the repercussions of this war; the targeting of Christians, increasingly dangerous and oppressive circumstances for women, the list goes on and on.

Anyway, this information isn’t news to those of us reading this blog. It makes me even more convinced that Jesus for President tour is timely, and conversation about Isaiah 58 in our world always relevant.
